A Dream Proposal on Lake Como: The Story of Two Doctors at Villa Melzi

As a wedding and proposal photographer on Lake Como, I have the privilege of capturing some of the most romantic moments in one of the most beautiful places in the world. The Magic of Villa Melzi in Bellagio

We began the photoshoot at Villa Melzi, one of the most iconic locations in Bellagio, surrounded by elegant gardens and breathtaking views of the lake. He got down on one knee in front of the neoclassical temple, surrounded by silence and the scent of blooming flowers. She said “yes” through tears of joy and the most radiant smile I’ve ever captured through my lens.

Every image reflected the soft afternoon light and the genuine emotion of that once-in-a-lifetime moment. This is where Lake Como reveals its timeless charm — the perfect setting for a romantic and elegant proposal in Italy.


A Private Boat Ride Among Luxury Villas

After the proposal, we continued the session aboard a private boat on Lake Como, capturing breathtaking photos with the luxurious historic villas in the background — Villa del Balbianello, Villa Carlotta, and Villa Serbelloni.

The calm waters, the golden light of sunset, and the reflections dancing on the lake made every shot a little masterpiece. It was an intimate and refined experience — a celebration of love that traveled across the world to find its magic right here, between the mountains and the shimmering waters of Lake Como.
